Senator Bruno recently met with students and teachers from the Rensselaer County Northern Shepherds 4-H club at the New York State Capitol. The students presented the Senator with a shawl make from the fleece of his now deceased sheep, Pepper. Senator Bruno had given the students the wool at the 1999 Schaghticoke Fair.
"To have Pepper immortalized in this shawl is really something special and my wife and I will always treasure it," said Senator Bruno. "I enjoyed spending some time with these students and they are a testament of the good work done by the Rensselaer County 4-H club."
