Senator Bruno today visited the South Troy Boys and Girls Club Basketball Camp where he watched and participated in drills and later chatted with the campers.

"During the summer months, it is wonderful that organizations like the Boys and Girls Club give children in the community a place to go in a fun and organized setting," said Senator Bruno. "I was pleased to see that we clearly have a number of talented young players here, and, more importantly, I was happy to see that everyone was having a good time."

Approximately 25 children, age 8-12, attended the basketball camp, which is run by Earl Harrison and Al Prater. This year, Senator Bruno helped secure $25,000 for the South Troy Boys and Girls Clubs and $5,000 of that funding was used for the basketball camp.
