SENATOR BRUNO OBTAINS FUNDING FOR TO LIFE!

$20,000 to Assist Breast Cancer Awareness Organization

Senate Majority Leader Joseph L. Bruno today announced that he has obtained $20,000 in funding to help To Life! -- a nonprofit breast cancer awareness group -- continue to provide its services for women throughout the Capital Region.

"By helping people access important medical information and by simply giving emotional support to women with breast cancer and their families, To Life! has provided invaluable services to the Capital Region since 1998," said Senator Bruno. "I am pleased to secure this funding so this organization can continue to do its wonderful work."

"I would like to thank Senator Bruno for his continued support of To Life! and of women throughout the Capital Region who are fighting breast cancer," said Mara Ginsberg, Founder of To Life!. "This funding will help us continue to provide these women and their families with important, up-to-date information on the latest medical advancements."

Founded by breast cancer survivor Mara Ginsberg in 1998, To Life! is a unique and comprehensive resource for breast health and cancer awareness in the Capital Region. The nonprofit organization�s mission is to educate the community about breast cancer detection and treatments and related health matters and to provide support services to breast cancer patients, caregivers, family, and friends.
