SENATE MAJORITY TASK FORCE ON CHILDREN'S HEALTH AND SAFETY

Dear Friend,

The health and safety of New York�s 4.7 million children is of utmost importance to me. Too many innocent children are injured -- sometimes intentionally -- and the Senate is committed to doing what we can to reduce these numbers and keep children safe. Child abuse and neglect, sexual predators, drunk drivers and environmental hazards all place children at risk.

Since the scope and magnitude of issues impacting child health and safety are so broad and far-reaching, I have created a special task force to research and report to the Senate on what we can do to make New York a safer state for our children.
